A Computer that Heals on Its Own

At last, a computer has come out from the laboratories of University College London that can recover on its own from the crashes by repairing corrupted data without any extended support of software engineer.

The minds behind the device- Peter Bentley and Christos Sakellariou have revealed that the device is a kind of ‘systemic computer’ wherein every bit of information is combined with set of instructions on what to do or not to do.

There is memory-featuring context sensitive information which can interact with other similar systems. A pseudorandom number generator is used rather than going for program counter. This helps the various systems to carry out the instructions in a far better way without making any system to take priority over others.

Since the device is installed with multiple copies of instructions that are availed by different systems help at times when one system gets corrupted and therefore it can get access to another clean copy to repair its code.

This is wonderful news for tech lovers who spend so much time, effort and money to get their computers recover from those so-called engineers.
